Bryan P. Fortay

Senior Vice President and Partner of Broadlands Financial Group, LLC. 

Oversees Broadlands’ national operations, as well as the day-to-day operations of its three subsidiaries. Mr. Fortay is in charge of the overall business strategy, marketing, sales, personnel, and profitability, reporting directly to the President. 

 

Mr. Fortay is the Executive Vice President of Broadlands Financial Group, LLC, and the Senior Claims Executive for Broadlands’ insurance affiliate, First Sealord Surety, Inc. Mr. Fortay brings an extensive legal background to Broadlands, and oversees Broadlands’ international operations as well as the day-to-day operations of its three subsidiaries. He has experience in CSP, PV, Biomass and Wind projects. After practicing law at Duane Morris, LLP in Philadelphia for four years and then his own private law firm, Mr. Fortay took on the role of Senior Claims Executive at First Sealord Surety, managing the daily operations of the surety and all litigation matters. In 2003, Mr. Fortay took the position of Senior Vice President of Broadlands Financial Group, overseeing its international operations and managing its three subsidiaries, which provide contract surety bonds, bonds alternatives, constructional financial services, project funds control, construction risk management and contractor training, among other services. Mr. Fortay has implemented loss control strategies for lenders, developers and insurance clients involved in over $20 billion in construction over the last four years. 

Mr. Fortay received his Juris Doctor through distinguished study at the Temple University School of Law, after receiving his BA in Political Science and Journalism from Rutgers College. 

Senior Claims Executive of First Sealord Surety, Inc. Villanova, PA. 

Charged with day-to-day operation of the surety claims department, the management of all claims, salvage, indemnification and dispute   resolution issues, as well as the management of all litigation matters.  Mr. Fortay has been working in this capacity as outside counsel for the company since 1998 while practicing law at Duane Morris, LLP and the Law Offices of Bryan P. Fortay.
