Mr. Kellogg is Senior Vice President of global accounts and renewable energy for Broadlands Financial Group, LLC.  Mr Kellogg has a vital role in leading the company’s energy initiatives including building production and service teams, setting core strategy for new energy markets and ensuring that Broadlands grows with the international renewable energy markets. Mr. Kellogg utilizes his operational experience to support the team when establishing new projects to ensure that policies and procedures are established that effectively meet all of the client’s objectives. 

 

Mr. Kellogg was the Senior Vice President of business development and led the Broadlands sales team as they successfully developed an expanding clientele of lender and owner construction services. Mr. Kellogg was the Vice President of the national construction risk management division providing services to lenders, owners, developers, general contractors and sureties throughout the United States. The construction risk management division performs project finance controls and job cost accounting services as well as overall coordination and management of the associated engineering, project oversight and reporting aspects of operations.  Mr. Kellogg’s team of project finance professionals managed more than $1,800,000,000 in construction project funds annually for lenders and developers throughout the United States. Mr. Kellogg maintained a zero loss ratio on all Broadlands project funds administration projects over his tenure.  Mr. Kellogg’s team of construction risk managers were responsible for management of project finances on over 200 concurrent construction projects for private owners, builders, sureties and financial clients. Mr. Kellogg managed contractor, owner and financial client interests by assembling appropriate project teams and designing cost control systems that track project risk on a cash flow basis.

Mr. Kellogg managed the internal construction risk department for the Mountbatten Surety Company, Inc., an affiliate of Zurich North America. Hired to bring construction management and financial expertise to evaluate, re-design and manage an internal risk management department. This department produced revenues based on management fees compounded by new surety premiums on bonds conditioned upon our management of the construction project finances and monitoring of construction progress. Direct operations on over 100 projects at various stages of completion with a total combined value exceeding $400 million. Reduce exposure producing zero losses through the implementation of new financial risk management procedures. In addition to his regular duties, Mr. Kellogg was the lead project manager for Broadlands Owner’s Representative team on the Nevada Solar One project, a $300 million and 64 MW concentrated solar power project located in Boulder City Nevada.
